Fujitsu Global Retail BD Partner

Fujitsu

Global Retail Business Development Partner

Fujitsu is seeking a Global Retail Business Development Partner (GRBDP) who will leverage their industry subject matter expertise to identify business growth opportunities in the North American market.

At the C-level, the GRBDP will navigate existing and prospective new clients to position Fujitsu’s cutting edge retail solutions and services value proposition. The GRBDP will hand off the sales lead to the sales team (Client Executive) as assigned by Paul Bresnahan, the North American Manufacturing/Retail leader.

The GRBDP will provide guidance and oversight, but is not responsible for the deal pursuit. This is not a quota carrying role. This is an opportunity to introduce Fujitsu’s phenomenal global offering to the U.S and Canadian markets. Those deeply entrenched in the retail world will find this to be a very interesting opportunity to play into the modern digital retail space, and build on that global momentum.

The successful candidate will most likely either be a seasoned consultant with an industry-focused consulting firm or working for a leading retailer as a CTO or bridging the business need and IT delivery, understanding omnichannel enterprise commerce, “grab ‘n’ go” solutions, AI, Edge IoT computing and other DX solutions for the retail industry. He or she will also understand the features and benefits of large horizontal services, which underpin the customer facing delivery operations.

Desired Experience:

  • Seasoned experience of the retail industry – different segments, retailers, core retail processes, market/shopper trends, ICT solutions and services.
  • Background in consulting/business development in the retail sector including pre-sales and business consulting experience, preferably with a major consulting company.
  • Experience working in a relevant line manager role in a retail business.
  • Existing relationships with C-level executives in the Americas and customers in both business and IT functions.
  • Knowledge of DX transformation in the retail industry with the focus on digital commerce, AI, IoT, cloud and mobile.
